A few clear
terms.

Yearshelf is provided by OUTWORLD APPS S.R.L., Romania. These terms cover the app and this website. The applicable App Store or Google Play terms also apply to purchases and distribution.

Your books and your responsibility

Your writing and photos remain yours. You grant us no right to publish your journal by using Yearshelf. Only add content you have the right to use, and use the app lawfully. Keep your device and any exported files secure.

Yearshelf stores the journal locally and does not provide a cloud account or synchronization service. You are responsible for making and checking separate backups. We cannot recover an encryption key or journal that we do not possess. Readable backups and exports may expose their contents to anyone who can access those files.

Free features and Full Shelf

The free edition includes one active five-year book and the core writing, search, backup and plain-export tools. Full Shelf is an optional one-time nonconsumable purchase for up to six books and a designed book PDF. The store displays your local price, including applicable taxes, before purchase. There is no recurring subscription.

Purchases and refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their terms. Restore uses the account and store that made the purchase. Purchases do not transfer from one store to the other. A refund or other store ownership update may remove paid access; ordinary product-loading failures should preserve already cached access.

Digital exports

PDFs, backups and share cards are digital files. Yearshelf does not provide physical printing, binding or delivery. Check the exported file, paper size and any printer’s requirements before ordering a print. Font or character coverage may vary; review the output before relying on it.

Availability and updates

We work to keep Yearshelf reliable, but cannot promise uninterrupted availability, compatibility with every future device, or that every file can be imported. App updates may change features or fix problems. Statutory consumer rights are not excluded by these terms.
